The cosmic connection - an explorer's perspective
Have you ever you looked up just to see a reflection of who you are? After all, you are composed of the same atoms than the whole universe. Megalophobia is a website inspired by the gigantic size of the universe and what it contains. It shows the thoughts of an explorer of space and time, that used to be, a while ago, one with the stars. Through their relationships with others, they explore more and more of what it means to be, to feel human, a whole in itself but still a part of something so much bigger. That they fell in love or only found deep friendships on Earth isn't really the question here. What matters is the truth of those connections and what meaning they have, for each and every of them. But most importantly, what everyone does with that meaning, what do they feel, how do they act about it.
If not to find ourselves, to reunite after a forgotten past together, why would we live during the same period of time, why would we have met?

The Webmaster
I'm Alice. I'm French, although I also speak English, German (and a tiny bit of Spanish). I'm just trying to find my purpose, my meaning of life, in the absurdity of the world. I long for a place of quiet, poetry and love, that I found in literature and art. Words and colors have since been one of the true loves of life, a place for escapism and liberty.
I fell in the wonderful world of books as soon as I knew how to read, and drawing has also followed for a while now. I've also always kept a special place in heart for my passion for space, the stars and foreign planets, and space pictures are a big influence in my art in general (go look up the Hubble website!). The moon, stars, etc. are common motive in my paintings and poems.
This website definitely is an open love letter to everyone I consider a friend, a lover, but also to the passions and love that forged the person I became. I love you all. May you find bits of my gratitude in the words I wrote there.
I once found the answers to my questions between midgnight and two am, while stargazing with friends. The moon whispers gently to those who dare to listen. Enjoy the ride!
